You are unlikely to go wrong with either Juvederm or Restylane as long as you are seeing an experienced, board-certified physician from one of the "core four" cosmetic specialties: dermatology, plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery (ENT), or oculoplastic surgery. Juvederm and Restylane in my hands do tend to last about the same length of time. The exact depth of placement, the amounts used, and the history of previous fillers are all factors that may make one seem to last longer. I do feel that Juvederm absorbs more water initially under the skin, and may have some increased swelling.
