Juvederm vs Restylane NYC New York NY
You are unlikely to go wrong with either Juvederm or Restylane as long as you are seeing an experienced, board-certified physician from one of the "core four" cosmetic specialties: dermatology, plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery (ENT), or oculoplastic surgery. Juvederm and Restylane in my hands do tend to last about the same length of time. The exact depth of placement, the amounts used, and the history of previous fillers are all factors that may make one seem to last longer. I do feel that Juvederm absorbs more water initially under the skin, and may have some increased swelling. Normally this is not any kind of issue except that if you love how your results look the next day and then realize some of it was swelling and you want more filler, you may feel disappointed. I also do not use Juvederm for under eye filler because the skin is so thin there, that excessive swelling may last too long, though I do know some doctors that use it there without issue.
